Designed as a compact, large-format 9mm pistol, the Kuna uses a roller-delayed blowback action paired with a right-side ejection port and a right-side, forward-mounted charging handle. The monolithic aluminum upper integrates a full-length numbered Picatinny top rail and an M-LOK forend for direct accessory placement.
The 6 in cold hammer-forged steel barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and ships with a removable multi-port muzzle brake. A 1:10 twist supports a broad range of 9mm loads, while the threaded muzzle adds configurability at the shooter’s discretion.
Controls are modern and fully ambidextrous where they matter most, including the two-position safety and magazine release. A flat-faced trigger promotes a consistent index along the trigger shoe.
The folding hybrid flip-up metal sights provide two distinct sighting solutions: with the sights deployed, you get a rifle-style aperture; folded, they present a pistol-style U-notch with a white dot. This dual-mode setup complements the platform’s PDW-style ergonomics.
Manufactured by HS Produkt in Karlovac, Croatia and imported/marketed by Springfield Armory in Geneseo, Illinois, the pistol carries clear import markings and a 30+1 capacity. Model KN9069B identifies the base unbraced pistol configuration.
