The G27 Gen4 pairs a 3.43 in barrel with a 9+1 capacity in a compact footprint, making it a capable .40 S&W package. The Gen4 RTF grip with finger grooves and interchangeable backstraps provides a secure, customizable hold. An enlarged, reversible magazine release supports left- or right-handed operation.
The slide wears a matte black nitride finish and uses an external extractor that also serves as a tactile and visual loaded-chamber indicator. Fixed steel notch/post sights are installed, with a front sight marked "TG-H3" and a rear sight retained by a set screw.
Internally, this pistol uses Glock's striker-fired, short-recoil, locked-breech action and the Safe Action system with three passive safeties. The Gen4 dual recoil spring assembly reduces felt recoil and enhances durability.
Barrel construction features polygonal rifling with a 250 mm (9.84 in) right-hand twist, promoting a tight gas seal. The pistol bears Austrian origin markings and import stamps, including "MADE IN AUSTRIA," "GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA," and a G over AT barrel stamp. The slide, barrel, and frame share matching serials.
