The BDL configuration delivers the signature look and feel: a gloss walnut stock with Monte Carlo comb and cheekpiece, pressed fleur-de-lis checkering, black fore-end cap, white-line spacers, and an inletted grip-cap medallion. Sling swivel studs and a black Remington-logo hard buttplate with white-line spacer complete the package.
The 24-inch steel sporter-contour barrel wears a blued finish and is drilled and tapped near the muzzle. The blued steel receiver is cleanly finished, and the rifle is configured without iron sights.
The right-hand bolt features an engine-turned (jeweled) body and a checkered/knurled bolt knob for positive control. A two-position safety and a hinged floorplate internal magazine provide familiar Model 700 operation, with a 4+1 capacity. Length of pull measures 13.0 inches.
Markings include the REP Remington proof and an additional barrel stamp cluster near the receiver reading 'S 4 S V ?'. This rifle was made in the United States.
