The 3.8-inch barrel is hammer-forged and match-grade, with a 1:16 twist and a MATCH marking on the chamber area. This setup is built for consistent performance with .45 ACP in a compact format.
The forged steel slide wears a black Melonite finish and includes an OSP optics-cut with a cover plate, plus front and rear serrations for confident manipulation. Sights are a fiber-optic front paired with a Tactical Rack U-Dot rear.
Springfield’s flat-faced META trigger, along with the XD-M Elite’s grip safety and trigger safety, delivers a familiar striker-fired control layout. Ambidextrous slide stop levers support left- or right-handed operation.
