The 7.5 in stainless steel barrel combines with Ruger’s solid one-piece stainless frame for a strong, purpose-built .44 Magnum platform. The barrel has a half-lug underlug ejector shroud and a serrated top rib.
The DA/SA action uses Ruger’s transfer-bar safety and a single coil spring powering both hammer and trigger. Controls include a smooth-faced trigger and a checkered hammer spur.
The sighting system is set up for clarity and adjustment: an interchangeable ramped front sight with a red/orange insert pairs with a fully adjustable black, square-notch rear sight.
The Redhawk’s lockup is built around a triple-locking cylinder with a frame-mounted push-button cylinder latch. This example carries the Southport, Conn., U.S.A. address rollmark and has a 6-round cylinder in stainless steel.
Aftermarket black wraparound rubber grips are installed for a secure hold. The revolver is chambered in .44 Rem Magnum and comes with a six-shot speedloader.
