The heart of this WW-15 is a 16-inch steel M4-profile barrel with a 1:9 twist, capped with an A2 flash hider on a threaded muzzle. It is chambered in 5.56mm NATO and operates via a semi-automatic, direct-impingement system.
The A3 upper includes a forward assist, case deflector, and ejection-port cover. A continuous top rail runs the length of the receiver, and a railed gas block with an integral sling swivel adds front rail space and sling attachment.
The rifle is outfitted with a Midwest Industries aluminum railed handguard, a B5 Systems collapsible stock, and an ERGO textured pistol grip. An ambidextrous charging handle with extended latches enhances control and access. A manual safety is standard, and the listed length of pull is 11.0 inches.
