The METE MC9 uses a striker-fired, semi-automatic action with a flat-faced trigger and a short reset. A trigger safety is standard. The barrel measures 3.18 inches, and the included 12- and 15-round steel magazines allow the user to choose between a shorter profile or a full-firing-grip setup.
The matte black slide features forward and rear serrations for traction, plus an RMSc-pattern optic cut under a removable cover plate. Dovetailed iron sights consist of a white-dot front and a blacked-out rear, and per factory literature they are co-witness-friendly. A chamber witness port provides quick visual status.
The FDE polymer frame incorporates molded stippling with CANiK logos, an integral beavertail, and interchangeable backstraps to fine-tune fit. A 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail supports common compact lights or lasers. A serial number plate is embedded in the dust cover for easy identification.
