The 22-inch stainless heavy-profile barrel includes Ruger’s factory harmonic tuner at the muzzle and helical grooves near the crown. These features allow fine-tuning and help manage barrel vibrations, complementing the model’s accuracy-oriented design.
The Target model ships without iron sights. The stainless receiver incorporates Ruger’s integral scope-ring cuts to facilitate secure optic mounting consistent with the model’s optics-focused setup.
An aftermarket Butler Creek metal side-folding stock with pistol grip and rubber buttpad is installed, offering a compact folding profile and solid metal construction. A black polymer vented upper handguard is fitted, and the original full-length black synthetic stock is included for a conventional setup. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
As configured, this Mini-14 supports a stated capacity of 20+1 with the included Ruger factory 20-round steel magazine. It is a 580-series Target variant produced in 2007 with a stainless finish throughout the barrel and receiver.
