The L6 IMB uses an aluminum alloy frame to reduce weight compared to steel-frame Desert Eagle models while retaining the rugged Mark XIX architecture. The 6" steel barrel incorporates an integral multi-port muzzle brake and porting, and the polygonal rifling is clean and sharp. Fixed combat sights consist of a front post and a rear notch.
The action is the hallmark Desert Eagle system: gas-operated with a rotating multi-lug bolt, single-action only, and controlled by slide-mounted ambidextrous safety levers. The black wrap-around rubber grip with finger grooves provides a secure, consistent hold on this full-size pistol.
