The 24-inch heavy-contour barrel is fluted near the muzzle and threaded, and it comes fitted with a multi-port brake to help manage recoil and maintain sight picture. The right-hand bolt features a large round bolt knob for confident, repeatable manipulation.
Its monolithic aluminum chassis includes a free-float M-LOK forend, providing rigid support and accessory attachment options. Ergonomics are further enhanced by the AR-pattern textured polymer grip and the GLR16-S collapsible stock with a GL-CP5 adjustable cheekpiece. Length of pull is adjustable via the stock and measures 12.0 inches as configured.
The adjustable Savage AccuTrigger with a central safety blade allows precise, user-tuned control. A one-piece Picatinny rail is mounted to the receiver, and an additional rail section on the forend offers space for accessories; a bipod is already installed.
