It is an East Hartford, Connecticut production example from 1979 with gold-filled "HIGH STANDARD" slide lettering and a short slide with rear cocking serrations.
The 5.5-inch heavy bull barrel is fixed to the frame for stability and features an integral, anti-glare top rib. It uses High Standard’s interchangeable barrel system with a top-mounted latch, and the action is a simple, reliable blowback design.
