This stainless GI Expert is a full-size, single-stack Para 1911 in .45 ACP with a 5-inch barrel, built in the USA and marked "PARA USA INC., PINEVILLE, NC." on the frame. It includes three 8-round magazines and its factory GI45S-labeled green case. The pistol is in very good overall condition with an excellent, mirror-bright bore.

The GI Expert Stainless is a Government-length 1911 with a 5-inch barrel, single-stack .45 ACP configuration, and an 8+1 capacity. It features a stainless slide and frame with a matte stainless finish for a uniform, duty-style look. Dimensions are approximately 8.5 inches in overall length and 5.75 inches in height, with an unloaded weight around 39 ounces.
Controls and internals follow proven 1911 practice with enhancements: single-action operation, a beavertail grip safety, a left-side manual thumb safety, and an internal firing-pin block. It also wears a skeletonized three-hole trigger and a skeletonized rowel-style hammer, plus a flat mainspring housing and a smooth front strap. A beveled magazine well aids magazine insertion.
The slide carries rear serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port. Sighting is via fixed, dovetailed three-dot sights with a white-dot front blade and a low-profile rear notch. The pistol uses a standard barrel bushing and a GI-style recoil spring plug, and the barrel is stainless steel.
Markings include "GI Expert" on the slide and "PARA USA INC., PINEVILLE, NC." on the frame. The factory case label identifies the model code GI45S and matches the pistol. Produced during the 2009–2015 era, this example represents Para's U.S.-made 1911 line prior to the discontinuation of Para-branded pistols after the company was absorbed by Remington in 2015.
