The 590 platform here is a 12 gauge pump-action configured with a 20.5 inch cylinder bore barrel and a full-length tubular magazine that yields a 6+1 capacity. The receiver is aluminum with a matte finish and uses Mossberg's tang safety. Chambering supports both 2.75 in and 3 in shells.
Factory-style hardware includes a bayonet-lug assembly at the barrel and magazine clamp, a knurled clean-out magazine cap, and a front sling swivel. Sight reference at the muzzle is a tall, protected blade on a ramped base.
Ergonomics and handling are enhanced with a Magpul SGA 500 fixed stock and Magpul MOE forend. The SGA stock features a spacer-based length-of-pull system and a built-in sling slot, while the MOE forend provides a durable, streamlined gripping surface. Both components are polymer and installed.
On top, a receiver-mounted Picatinny optic rail integrates a 6-shell saddle, combining an Optic Rail and Shell Saddle into a single unit. The installed Bushnell red dot provides a clear aiming solution, and the Inforce weapon light mounted on the forend adds low-light capability.
