This full-size .45 ACP features SIG's short-reset (SRT) trigger, an aluminum alloy frame, and textured G10 Legion grips. It is a refined, DA/SA, decocker-equipped P220 built in the USA and finished with Legion-specific touches throughout.

The Legion R2 configuration brings an optics-ready slide with a cover plate, along with front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. The slide wears SIG's Legion Gray PVD, while the aluminum-alloy frame is hard-coat anodized and finished in Legion Gray Cerakote for a uniform, durable finish that defines the Legion series.
SIG X-RAY3 day/night sights come factory-installed, pairing a green-ring front dot with a square-notch rear for fast acquisition in varied lighting. The top of the slide bears the LEGION wordmark with chevron emblem, a hallmark of this series.
The action is recoil-operated, DA/SA, and hammer-fired, with a decocker and no manual thumb safety. Controls include an SRT trigger designed for a short reset, and an external, skeletonized serrated spur hammer.
The aluminum alloy frame keeps weight in check while retaining the full-size P220 format with a 4.4 in barrel. A three-slot SIG-style accessory rail on the dustcover supports common weapon-mounted lights or accessories.
Black textured G10 grips with Legion medallions provide a secure hold, and the frame is marked SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON–NH–USA. Chambered in .45 ACP, this P220 feeds from detachable factory magazines, and this example includes both 8- and 10-round options.
