The Glock G22 Gen 3 is a full-size .40 S&W with Glock's Safe Action system and a striker-fired, short-recoil, locked-breech design. This example is Austrian-made and retains the classic Gen 3 frame with finger grooves and pebble-texture panels for a consistent, repeatable grip.
The installed Heine rear sight provides a clear, precise rear notch while keeping the durable factory front blade. Combined with the rear slide serrations, sight setup, and non-MOS slide, this pistol maintains a straightforward iron-sight configuration.
The 4.49-inch steel barrel uses polygonal rifling and a ferritic nitrocarburized finish. The bore is bright and mirror-clean, reflecting excellent internal condition. The slide shares the same ferritic nitrocarburized treatment for durability.
A single-slot Glock Universal Rail sits ahead of the trigger guard for mounting compatible rail accessories. The slide features rear serrations only, keeping the profile familiar to Gen 3 users.
Two factory 15-round LEO-marked magazines accompany the pistol. In addition to the "RESTRICTED LE/GOVT ONLY" markings and magazine bodies marked "GLOCK AUSTRIA," both magazines carry side engravings referencing "SCD. P.D. ELZ" (409-3 and 284-2), providing documented law-enforcement provenance.
