Made in the Czech Republic and imported by CZ-USA, it comes with two 19-round and two 10-round magazines.
Notable details include matching serial numbers on the slide, frame, and barrel; a green fiber-optic, dovetailed front sight paired with a fixed, dovetailed rear; and practical controls such as a spurred ring hammer, extended beavertail, and lanyard loop. The SP-01’s steel frame with a full-length dust cover and integral three-slot accessory rail provides a solid foundation. The internal-rail slide rides inside the frame rails and is cut with front and rear serrations for confident manipulation. The frame is finished in black and fitted with black checkered rubber grip panels with CZ medallions.
This example uses a double-action/single-action, hammer-fired system with a manual thumb safety (no decocker). The spurred ring hammer, extended beavertail, and lanyard loop at the grip heel add practical handling touches.
Sighting equipment consists of a dovetailed green fiber-optic front sight and a fixed, dovetailed rear, both set up for a clear, durable sight picture. The 4.6 inch barrel complements the full-size format.
