The Mini-30 Ranch Rifle is chambered in 7.62x39 and uses a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston with a rotating-bolt action. This example features an 18.5-inch stainless barrel and stainless receiver, delivering a durable, weather-resistant package tailored to the Ranch Rifle configuration.
This is a 581-series rifle with the updated heavier tapered barrel and a four-screw gas block. The receiver includes integral Ruger scope-base cuts, providing a direct interface for Ruger-pattern rings if desired.
Sighting is handled by a receiver-mounted aperture rear and a banded, protected blade front. The rifle wears a black glass-filled nylon stock with molded checkering, a fixed configuration, and a rubber recoil pad. Length of pull is 13.0 inches, and a ventilated polymer upper handguard completes the forend.
The detachable box magazine system supports a stated maximum capacity of 30+1. A short accessory rail segment is mounted under the barrel forward of the gas block for attaching compatible accessories. An integral steel sling loop is fitted to the gas block up front, while the rear of the stock has a screw-in sling swivel stud with a swivel attached.
