It is an early, non-railed first-generation configuration from a discontinued model line, notable for its classic Government-size build and premium Wilson Combat features. Made in the United States, it includes three 8-round magazines, original manual, factory test target, and a blue Wilson Combat soft pistol rug.

The Protector is built on a stainless-steel Government-length platform with brushed flats and matte rounds on the slide and frame. It features a full-length guide rod, a beveled magazine-well opening, and a high-cut under the trigger guard for improved control and handling.
Slide details include front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered and flared ejection port. The fixed three-dot sighting system uses a dovetailed white-dot front and a fixed low-mount two-dot rear sight marked by Wilson Combat.
Controls are set up with a beavertail grip safety with memory pad and an ambidextrous thumb safety. The fire-control group includes a lightweight, three-hole trigger and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer.
This is an early, non-railed first-generation Protector from a discontinued Wilson Combat line, adding clear collector interest. Documentation includes a Wilson factory test target dated November 6, 2001, and a Michigan Pistol Sales Record dated November 8, 2002.
Chambered in .45 ACP with an 8+1 capacity, this pistol comes with three Wilson Combat magazines, each equipped with base pads, along with its Wilson manual.
