This Palmetto State Armory AK-P7 is a registered Short-Barreled Rifle in 7.62x39 with a 10.5-inch barrel and a focused set of premium upgrades. It features an Occam Defense free-float M-LOK handguard with a full-length top Picatinny rail, a Midwest Industries adjustable folding stock assembly, and an ALG single-stage AK trigger. A custom multitone reptile-scale Cerakote finish covers the receiver and Occam Defense handguard; the Midwest Industries stock and hinge remain in their standard black/anodized finish. The muzzle device shows partial tan coating near the base with expected heat wear. The bore is excellent, and the rifle retains clear manufacturer and trust engraving.

Built on a stamped AK-pattern receiver and chambered in 7.62x39, this PSA AK-P7 SBR combines a compact 10.5-inch barrel with a long-stroke gas piston system and a rotating bolt. The rifle is marked with the PSA crest and factory rollmarks: "Palmetto State Armory, West Columbia, SC – Caliber: 7.62x39mm – Model: AK-P7."
The rifle is configured as a registered SBR conversion and carries NFA trust engraving on the right side of the receiver: "John Cuenca Trust – North Salt Lake, UT." The Occam Defense handguard includes a full-length top Picatinny rail and M-LOK slots, and its plate is engraved "MADE IN IDAHO, USA – BY THE FREE – FOR THE FREE – OCCAMDEFENSE.COM/IP."
Controls and furniture are upgraded for practical use. The ALG single-stage AK trigger provides a clean break, the Midwest Industries stock folds and adjusts for length of pull, and the TangoDown polymer pistol grip offers a secure, modern profile. Length of pull is set at approximately 13.75 inches.
A conical flash-can/linear-comp style muzzle device directs gas forward. The rifle wears a custom multitone reptile-scale Cerakote across the receiver and handguard; the stock and hinge remain black/anodized, and the muzzle device shows partial tan coating near the base with heat wear. Stated capacity is 30+1, and one 30-round magazine is included.
