This Cabela's 50th Anniversary commemorative is a distributor-exclusive variant of the New Model Single-Six. It carries the special "CAB-" serial-prefix used for the run and a gold inlay Cabela's medallion on the grip frame, marking the 1961–2011 milestone.
The commemorative configuration includes a 5.5-inch barrel and fixed sights. The sighting setup consists of a ramped front blade and an integral rear notch, giving a clean, snag-resistant profile consistent with the edition.
The revolver is built on Ruger's steel New Model Single-Six platform with a fluted six-chamber cylinder. It uses the transfer-bar safety system and single-action operation, true to the series.
Construction is all-steel with a blued finish on the frame, cylinder, and receiver, and a steel barrel. Grips are black checkered synthetic with Ruger silver-eagle medallions. The barrel marking indicates manufacture in Newport, NH, USA.
Chambered in .22 LR with a 6-round capacity, this full-size revolver combines the commemorative features with the durable, familiar Single-Six format.
