The Hellion’s short-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt provides a clean-running, reliable action. Its two-position adjustable gas block supports normal and suppressed settings, allowing quick tuning to different ammunition and use conditions. The 16 in CMV steel barrel is nitride treated for corrosion resistance and wear protection, and it is threaded 1/2x28 with a slotted flash hider.
Designed as a fully ambidextrous bullpup, this rifle features reversible ejection, an ambidextrous rotary safety, and a forward folding charging handle under the carry handle. The bolt catch and release sit just behind the magwell for efficient reloads. Length of pull is 17.0, with a five-position collapsible, telescoping stock integrated into the bullpup layout.
A full-length, numbered 1913 top rail/carry-handle includes spring-assisted, integrated flip-up front and rear iron sights. The polymer handguard offers accessory slots and QD sling sockets, and the rifle accepts AR/STANAG magazines. Overall length runs 28.25–29.75 in, with weight at about 8.0 lb, giving a compact profile without sacrificing barrel length.
