The Bergara B-14R Trainer (Steel) in .22 LR is a purpose-built rimfire trainer built on a Remington 700 footprint for broad compatibility with 700-pattern triggers, stocks/chassis, and scope bases. It features an 18-inch heavy 4140 steel barrel with a target-style recessed crown and 1/2-28 threads, and it feeds from AICS-dimensioned .22 LR magazines. This right-hand bolt model includes a Picatinny scope base, Leupold rings, and a Harris bipod to get you on the range quickly.

The B-14R Trainer (Steel) is designed to mirror centerfire ergonomics and handling while running economical .22 LR. Built on a Remington 700 footprint, it accepts 700-pattern triggers, stocks/chassis, and scope bases, and uses AICS-dimensioned .22 LR magazines. Stated capacity is 10+1, and the bolt is right-hand with an oversized cylindrical knob for confident manipulation.
Its 18-inch heavy 4140 steel barrel is free-floated for consistency and wears a target-style recessed crown. The muzzle is threaded 1/2-28 for common .22-caliber muzzle devices, and the 1:16 twist rate is tailored to standard .22 LR loads. The barrel wears a matte gray finish, while the receiver/action is matte black—both suited to hard range use.
The synthetic stock comes in gray with black-speckle and integrates an internal aluminum mini-chassis. The original height-adjustable cheekpiece is missing (only the two riser posts are present); a strap-on cheek rest pad is installed. It retains spacer-adjustable length of pull, textured grip panels for traction, QD flush-cup sling sockets, and a front swivel stud. Length of pull is set at 14.5 inches and can be tuned via spacers.
A two-position safety provides straightforward operation. Factory specs list overall length at about 38 inches and weight at approximately 9.2 lb. The rifle bears CIP 'N' proof marks, a MADE IN SPAIN marking, and an importer mark of ES BPI LAWRENCEVILLE, GA. A Picatinny scope base is installed, and Leupold 33mm rings and a Harris bipod are included to round out the setup.
