The DDM4 V7 uses a mid-length gas system on a 16-inch cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined 5.56 barrel with a 1:7 twist. The barrel is threaded and fitted with an open-ended multi-slot flash hider.
Its Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 M free-float aluminum handguard provides M-LOK slots and a continuous T-marked top Picatinny rail. The handguard includes integrated push-button QD sling swivel sockets near the rear (3 and 9 o’clock), and an add-on M-LOK QD sling mount is also installed near the receiver. The free-float setup supports consistent barrel harmonics.
The rifle includes ambidextrous safety levers, a forward assist, case deflector, and dust cover. Receivers are aluminum with an earth-tone brown finish. The adjustable carbine stock and textured pistol grip provide a familiar AR-15 interface.
A Picatinny top-rail riser/bridge is installed to span the receiver and handguard, and a short vertical foregrip is mounted to the M-LOK handguard. It accepts AR-15/STANAG-pattern magazines; one PMAG Gen M3 with a Ranger Plate is included.
Factory overall length is approximately 32.25 to 35.875 inches with a weight around 6.2 pounds. Made in the United States.
