Its compact 3.9-inch barrel uses a 1:10 twist and works within a short-recoil, locked-breech operating system. The slide is stainless steel with a matte black finish and features front and rear diagonal cocking serrations for confident manipulation.
Factory fixed 3-dot tritium night sights (H3-marked) provide a bright, low-light sight picture. Ambidextrous slide-catch levers and a reversible magazine catch support left- or right-handed use without modification.
The glass-reinforced polymer frame and polymer grip module with coarse/stippled panels offer secure handling. A five-slot Picatinny accessory rail is integrated into the dust cover, and the Compact magazine capacity is 15+1 rounds. The included magazines are steel and stamped "MADE IN ITALY."
