The HD P4 is part of Staccato’s HD series and built on the 2011 platform, pairing a billet 4140 steel frame with a polymer double-stack grip module. The 4.0 in bull barrel adds front-end weight for stability, and the beavertail aids a consistent, high grip.
This State-Compliant submodel ships with a 10-round magazine and includes a tactile and visual loaded-chamber indicator marked "LOADED WHEN OUT." Controls are purposefully configured for broad use, with fully ambidextrous safeties and slide stops plus a reversible magazine release.
The slide is cut for optics with a removable plate and uses Staccato’s HOST direct-to-slide interface. Sighting is iron-based with a green-dot front and a rear sight mounted ahead of the ejection port. Wrap-over forward and matching rear slide serrations, along with grasping flats, provide positive manipulation.
