This short-action Mark V uses the 6-lug bolt with a 54° bolt lift, providing the compact action length associated with the 7mm-08 Rem. chambering. The receiver is rollmarked "MARK V" with the Weatherby script and "MADE IN U.S.A."
The 20-inch unfluted stainless sporter barrel wears a recessed crown and no iron sights. The matte stainless receiver is drilled and tapped, and finished to match the barrel for a unified stainless package.
The black synthetic Monte Carlo stock includes molded checkering for grip, integrated sling studs, and a recoil pad. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches, offering a comfortable, full-size fit.
Feeding is from an internal box magazine with a 4+1 capacity and a hinged floorplate; the stylized Weatherby "W" appears on the floorplate release lever within the trigger guard, while the floorplate itself is plain stainless. Controls include a floorplate release integrated into the trigger guard and a two-position safety on the bolt shroud.
Originating from U.S. production in the 1990s, this Stainless Lightweight Carbine configuration combines Weatherby’s Mark V action with a durable stainless-and-synthetic build aimed at all-weather use.
