Made in Italy, this 92FS carries Italian proof and inspection marks on the right side of the frame and clear factory slide legends. The right side is marked "MOD. 92FS – CAL. 9 Parabellum – PATENTED," while the left side reads "PIETRO BERETTA GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY." The slide also bears the Beretta U.S.A.
Corp., ACKK., MD importer marking.
The pistol combines a light-alloy, black-anodized frame with a Bruniton-finished open-top slide and a steel barrel. The barrel features a hard-chromed bore, with phosphated and Bruniton-coated surfaces for durability. Black checkered polymer grips with Beretta medallions complete the classic 92FS profile.
Operation is semi-automatic with a DA/SA trigger and short-recoil locking block system. Controls include an ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker with a red "fire" indicator, and the pistol will fire without a magazine (no magazine disconnect). It uses an external spurred hammer and offers a 15+1 capacity in 9mm Luger.
Sight configuration is fixed, with an integral front blade featuring a white dot and a low-profile rear notch. The slide has rear serrations only, and the non-railed full-size frame preserves the traditional 92FS layout. The FS slide/hammer-pin interface update is designed to retain the slide in the event of a catastrophic failure.
