This example adds an installed NDZ Performance flared magazine well and a Cabela's rail-mounted rechargeable weapon light, and comes with the factory box, soft case, manual, and four 10-round magazines. The compact 4.0C configuration pairs a 4 in. barrel with a 10+1 capacity to meet California-compliant requirements. This pistol uses a striker-fired action and a Central Operating Group (COG) serialized stainless-steel chassis inside a black polymer frame.
The billet-machined steel slide wears a black Melonite finish and is marked ECHELON and SPRINGFIELD ARMORY. It includes a loaded chamber indicator marked "LOADED WHEN OUT" and Springfield's Variable Interface System (VIS) direct-mount optics cut concealed beneath a cover plate bearing the crossed-cannons crest.
Factory U-Dot sights consist of a tritium front dot with a high-visibility yellow/green ring and a U-notch rear. Ambidextrous slide-stop levers and an ambidextrous magazine release support either hand. The dustcover integrates a Picatinny accessory rail.
The hammer-forged steel barrel has a Melonite finish and a 1:10 twist. Internal and trigger blade safeties are present. Proof and origin markings read HS PRODUKT — MADE IN CROATIA, reflecting manufacture by HS Produkt for Springfield Armory.
