The ECP pairs a bushingless, match-grade bull barrel with a reverse plug and a flush-cut, recessed crown for consistent lockup and durability. The flat-wire recoil spring is rated for a 15,000-round service life, supporting long-term reliability with reduced maintenance frequency.
Its tri-top slide features a serrated top rib to cut glare and rear-only cocking serrations for a clean profile. Sights are a serrated ledge-style U-notch rear and a dovetailed brass-bead front, providing a clear and fast sight picture.
The frame is forged aluminum alloy with an anodized finish, keeping weight to 29 ounces. Grip enhancements include a conventional, non-bobtailed frame with a straight, flat mainspring housing and squared heel, checkered frontstrap and mainspring housing, and gray/black textured G10 panels for secure purchase.
This single-action-only 1911 uses a beavertail grip safety and a left-side thumb safety, with no right-side thumb safety observed. A skeletonized trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer complete the control setup.
