The barrel uses a 1:9 twist and an unthreaded, recessed-crown muzzle, built for consistent performance in .17 HMR. There are no iron sights, and the receiver is drilled and tapped with installed Weaver-style bases and 1-inch rings to support your optic of choice.
The laminated hardwood thumbhole stock is purpose-built for stable, repeatable shooting. It includes a high comb, beavertail forend, and ventilation slots, along with a rubber recoil pad and sling swivel studs. Length of pull is 14.0 inches, providing a steady fit for prone or benchrest work.
Savage's AccuTrigger is user-adjustable and features an inner safety blade. This design lets the shooter fine-tune the trigger pull to preference while maintaining safe operation.
