What's Included
- Browning Auto-5 Sweet Sixteen 16 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun
Built by FN Herstal for Browning and marked "MADE IN BELGIUM," this Sweet Sixteen represents the classic humpback Auto-5 profile with right-side ejection and a long-recoil action. It includes the friction ring system for load tuning, a cross-bolt safety, and a magazine cut-off, reflecting the defining mechanical features of the model and series.
The 26-inch Special Steel barrel is topped with a solid matted rib and a steel front bead for a clean sight picture. The choke is a fixed Modified, denoted by the "**" code, pairing well with the 2 3/4-inch chamber for traditional 16-gauge performance.
The blued steel receiver and barrel are complemented by factory FN-style scroll engraving and "Sweet Sixteen" script on the receiver. A gold-colored trigger and an embossed buttplate reading "AUTOMATIC BROWNING" with the FN monogram complete the period-correct details.
The walnut stock and forend have a gloss finish with cut checkering and a pistol grip. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches. The overall setup delivers the recognizable Auto-5 sighting plane and balanced handling expected of the Sweet Sixteen configuration.
