The P14•45 uses a double-stack, wide-body 1911 frame that provides a 14+1 capacity in .45 ACP while retaining familiar single-action operation. The solid, non-skeletonized trigger and commander-style rowel hammer reflect a purposeful parts selection focused on reliable function.
The slide and frame wear a uniform matte black finish. Functional details include rear-only vertical cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port. The dustcover is smooth with no accessory rail.
Sights are a fixed three-dot setup: a single-dot front and a two-dot rear that is dovetailed with a windage set screw. This arrangement offers a simple, consistent sight picture.
Controls and safety features include a left-side manual thumb safety, a grip safety, and a firing pin block. The grip frame has vertical front-strap serrations and a flat, vertically grooved mainspring housing. Black checkered polymer grip panels carry the Para logo.
