Built in 1973, this post-64 Model 94 features the classic top-eject receiver with a right-side loading gate and a vertical locking bolt. It carries a 20-inch round barrel and a tubular magazine with a stated capacity of 6+1, configured in the traditional carbine style with two barrel bands.
The receiver is drilled and tapped for a side-mount scope base, and a side-mount base is installed on the receiver, providing scope-mount capability while retaining access to the factory sights. The sighting setup includes a ramped, dovetailed front blade and an open semi-buckhorn rear leaf with a stepped elevator.
Factory markings include Winchester Proof Steel on the barrel, the New Haven rollmark, and Winchester oval WP proofs on both the barrel and receiver. The rifle wears a blued finish over steel components and is completed with a black checkered Winchester-logo buttplate.
