The Staccato HD P4.5 is a recent-release, USA-made, full-size 2011 built around a 4.5-inch sight-block barrel with an irons-forward layout. It pairs a metal frame and polymer double-stack grip module with ambidextrous controls, a Series 80–type firing-pin block, and a captured flat-wire recoil system. An ACRO-footprint optics adapter plate is installed on the slide, and the pistol is marked with Staccato and 9x19 identifiers throughout.

This HD-series pistol uses the 2011 platform in a single-action, hammer-fired configuration. It features a skeletonized hammer, a skeletonized trigger with lightening holes, and ambidextrous thumb safeties. The Series 80–type firing-pin block is retained while the grip safety is deleted.
The 4.5-inch sight-block barrel and irons-forward setup place the rear sight ahead of the optics cut. The slide shows lightening windows and an external extractor. Sights include a tall front with a yellow dot and a rear blade positioned in front of the optics interface.
The metal frame integrates a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail with four Picatinny slots for lights or other rail-mounted accessories. A captured flat-wire recoil assembly manages cycling.
Ergonomics are anchored by a polymer double-stack grip module with aggressive texture and Staccato star logos, plus an integral flared magwell for fast reloads. Capacity is 10+1 rounds of 9mm, and one 10-round magazine is included.
Markings include “STACCATO P4.5” on the slide with “2011 HD” on the left, a “9x19” barrel hood, and “STACCATO FLORENCE, TX USA” on the frame, underscoring its U.S. manufacture.
