This SFx Rival is built around a striker-fired, short-recoil/locked-breech system and was announced around SHOT Show 2022. The 5 inch barrel and full-size frame are configured for competition use, paired with an 18+1 capacity for extended strings on the clock.
The slide features front and rear serrations, weight-reducing lightening windows, and an optics-ready cut with the cover plate installed. A fiber-optic front sight and fully adjustable rear sight provide a precise sight picture out of the box, and the included R01, R02, R04, and R06 interface plates support common footprint setups.
The polymer frame wears Canik's Rival Grey Cerakote with gold accents and aggressive grip texture. An external flared magazine well (gold-colored) speeds reloads, while an integral 1913 Picatinny accessory rail accepts compatible lights or training aids.
Controls are competition-friendly: ambidextrous slide stop levers, bilateral takedown levers, and a left-side magazine release with additional buttons included to tailor reach. The flat-faced trigger with integrated safety blade supports a consistent press, and a trigger safety serves as the primary safety feature.
This pistol is imported by Century Arms and marked "CENTURY ARMS INC. GEORGIA, VT" with "Made in Turkey" on the frame/slide. The factory configuration corresponds to Canik part number HG6610T-N.
