The A300 Ultima Patrol uses Beretta's gas-operated A300 system with a self-cleaning piston and compensating exhaust valve. The shotgun is chambered for 3 in 12-gauge shells and feeds from an extended magazine tube for a 7+1 capacity. The 19.1 in barrel is Mobilchoke threaded.
Sighting is fast and precise with a modular ghost-ring rear sight and a protected post front sight with a red fiber-optic insert. The installed 7-slot 1913 Picatinny rail supports optics. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and the aluminum construction keeps weight balanced and durable.
Controls and ergonomics are optimized for quick operation: an enlarged loading port, an extended bolt-release paddle, and an extended bolt handle complement the cross-bolt safety. The slim synthetic forend has aggressive texturing and accessory slots to support mounting options as needed.
The synthetic stock provides a 13 in length of pull, textured pistol-grip panels, and a recoil pad.
