The A1-series updates add a Nickel-Teflon coated trigger bar, refined ambidextrous controls, additional slide serrations, and a subtly flared magwell. These changes build on the VP9K’s compact footprint to deliver modern handling with consistent trigger performance.
The slide is optics-ready and ships with the cover plate installed. It features front and rear serrations and HK’s carbon-nitride hostile environment finish. Fixed 3-dot sights are installed, and the extractor is marked "LOADED WHEN OUT" to function as a visual and tactile loaded-chamber indicator.
The 4.1 in cold hammer-forged steel barrel uses polygonal rifling. Chambered in 9mm Luger, this pistol has a 10+1 capacity and comes with two HK factory 10-round steel magazines; the magazine packaging is marked "MAG VP9SK 9MM SPARE."
Ergonomics are highly adaptable thanks to the modular grip system with interchangeable side panels and backstraps. An integral multi-slot accessory rail on the dustcover supports light or laser attachment. This pistol bears German CIP proof marks with the HKI Columbus, GA import mark, and has matching serials on the slide, barrel, and frame.
