Made in the United States and marked "BERETTA U.S.A. CORP." and "Made in USA," this 92FS represents the American-produced variant of the platform. It uses the standard (non-Brigadier) slide profile and a non-railed frame, preserving the classic lines associated with the model.
The pistol operates with a DA/SA, hammer-fired, short-recoil system using Beretta’s open-top slide and falling locking-block design. The ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker features red index dots, and an automatic firing-pin block provides an additional passive safety layer.
The slide wears a black Bruniton finish, while the frame is black aluminum alloy to balance durability and weight. Sighting is straightforward and robust, with a fixed integral white-dot front sight and a dovetailed rear square-notch sight.
Ergonomics and control are enhanced by black textured polymer grip panels with Beretta medallions and an exposed spurred hammer. The typical 4.9 in barrel and 15+1 capacity round out a configuration that aligns with the long-established 92FS specification.
