The Legion R2 configuration brings an optic-cut slide with a removable cover plate and Legion branding, paired with SIG tritium 3-dot night sights. The front sight uses a high-visibility green ring that draws the eye quickly while maintaining a clean, purpose-built sight picture in low light.
The hard-anodized aluminum-alloy frame includes an extended beavertail, checkering on the frontstrap and backstrap, and an undercut trigger guard for a consistent, high grip. A dustcover accessory rail with four M1913/Picatinny slots supports light or laser attachments. Black checkered G10 grips with Legion medallions complete the Legion Gray aesthetic.
This DA/SA model uses a decocking lever and is fitted with a straight, skeletonized trigger shoe. The pistol is marked with "SIG SAUER INC. EXETER-NH-USA" on the frame and "9MM PARA SIG." on the barrel hood, with the Legion chevron logo and "LEGION" atop the slide.
Capacity is 18+1, and this package includes five steel magazines made in the USA: three 15-round and two 18-round units. The mix includes both flush-fit and extended base pad types for flexibility in carry and training. Two cases are included—SIG's original case and a Legion Savior soft case—along with the SIG Legion P226 coin.
