Built on the proven P226 platform, this X-Series Legion is a full-size, DA/SA, hammer-fired pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. It pairs a stainless slide with an alloy frame, both finished in Legion gray, and carries the Legion chevron on the slide.
The slide features front and rear serrations and an optics-ready cut with a removable rear sight plate. Factory tritium 3-dot night sights include a front tritium lamp with a green high-visibility ring and a two-lamp tritium rear.
Ergonomics and control features include an extended beavertail, an undercut trigger guard, checkered front and back straps, textured black G10 panels with the Legion chevron motif, a reversible magazine release, a DA/SA curved trigger, and a decocking lever. An integral M1913 accessory rail supports mounted lights or other rail accessories.
The 4.4 in barrel and 18+1 capacity make this a capable full-size configuration. It comes with three factory 18-round magazines, and the factory case label shows model 226X-9-LEGION corresponding to the pistol's serial. Note: the case label abbreviates barrel length as '4 IN'; the correct factory barrel length is 4.4 in (112 mm). Markings read SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON-NH-USA, confirming U.S. manufacture.
