The Legion-series P226 X-FIVE pairs a SAO, short-recoil, locked-breech system with an ambidextrous manual safety and a spurred hammer. The AX3 flat-faced match trigger is factory-tuned and user-adjustable for reach, pull weight, and overtravel, allowing a tailored trigger setup to the shooter.
The long slide incorporates an integrated two-port expansion chamber with twin top ports at the muzzle. Front and rear slide serrations and a lightening cut support confident manipulation and balanced cycling.
Controls and frame details are competition-focused: an extended sport takedown lever with an integral thumb-rest, a flared magazine well, a pronounced beavertail, and front-strap plus under–trigger-guard checkering. A full-length Picatinny dustcover rail provides ample space for compatible accessories.
Sight regulation is fast and precise with a green fiber-optic front blade and a fully adjustable rear sight. The aluminum-alloy frame and slide wear Legion Gray Cerakote Elite, and textured Legion chevron grip panels complete the package. This example is chambered in 9mm Luger with an 18+1 capacity and includes a factory test target confirming a 0.58 in group at 10 m on April 18, 2024.
