What’s Included

The Peacekeeper was marketed by AWA as a factory-tuned Model 1873 Single Action revolver, offering traditional operation in a .45 Colt, single-action-only platform. This example dates to roughly 2000–2003 and carries the period-appropriate markings and build features associated with that run.
Construction is all steel with a color case-hardened frame and receiver paired to a blued barrel and cylinder. It uses the later smokeless-frame style with a spring-loaded, transverse crosspin base-pin latch (push-button), and the cylinder is fluted for a traditional appearance.
Sights are fixed, with a blade front and a rear groove in the topstrap. The barrel is rollmarked "PEACEKEEPER .45 COLT." on the side and "AMERICAN WESTERN ARMS." on the top. Markings include "AWA ITALY" under the ejector-rod housing, denoting maker/importer and country of origin, and reflecting its Italian manufacture and U.S. assembly.
Grip panels are black, checkered, and molded with a horse-in-oval on one side and a U.S. eagle/shield relief on the other. The revolver's smooth action and tight lockup align with its factory-tuned positioning and contribute to its clean, ready-to-enjoy presentation.
