The SAO configuration delivers a consistent single-action pull, paired with a flat-faced trigger for a straight press. A frame-mounted, ambidextrous thumb safety and external spurred hammer support confident manual control.
The slide is optics-ready with a cover plate and uses Beretta’s open-top design with front and rear vertical serrations. Sighting is fast and clear thanks to a dovetailed orange fiber-optic front and a black serrated rear, with a measured sight radius of 6.3 in.
This full-size 9mm features a 4.7 in barrel and 18+1 capacity. The aluminum-alloy frame keeps weight around 29.6 oz unloaded and includes an accessory rail for lights. The two-tone finish presents a light-colored slide over a dark-colored frame, and the grip panels are black textured polymer with Beretta medallions.
Barrel and slide operate on a short-recoil system with a falling/oscillating locking block, true to the 92 family. The slide is marked “BERETTA U.S.A. CORP. – GALLATIN, TN • MADE IN USA – 9mm PARA – PATENTED” with the PB monogram. Family dimensions list approximately 8.5 in length, 5.4 in height, and 1.5 in width.
