The Chiappa Rhino 200DS stands out with its bottom-aligned barrel that directs recoil straight back, a compact 2-inch shrouded barrel, and a distinctive DA/SA system with an external cocking lever and red single-action indicator. This Italian-made revolver features an aluminum alloy frame with steel barrel and cylinder, fixed sights with a red fiber-optic front, and arrives in excellent condition with its factory case and manual.
Built around Chiappa's 6 o'clock bore layout, the 200DS aligns the barrel with the bottom cylinder chamber to help reduce muzzle flip during firing. The 2-inch steel barrel is fully shrouded, preserving the revolver's sleek profile while protecting the ejector rod.
This DA/SA revolver uses an internal hammer actuated by an external "false hammer" cocking lever; a red indicator shows when it is set for single-action. The flat-sided/polygonal steel cylinder holds six rounds and swings out to the left via a left-side push-down cylinder release. The ejector rod is fully shrouded for a snag-resistant profile.
Sighting is straightforward and fast with a fixed trench channel integral to the topstrap and a red fiber-optic front blade. A one-piece black grip with wood-grain texture provides a secure hold while complementing the revolver's compact dimensions.
