The APX A1 Carry is a striker-fired, locked-breech micro-compact designed for minimal size with practical features. It uses a 3-inch steel barrel with a nitride finish and a black slide cut with diagonal front and rear serrations for positive manipulation.
The slide is optics-ready with a cover plate installed, and the dovetailed sights are user-adjustable. The sight picture combines a single-dot front blade with a serrated rear notch that has no dots.
The fiberglass-reinforced technopolymer frame in Flat Dark Earth houses a serialized stainless-steel internal chassis. Controls include a reversible magazine release. Safety features include a trigger safety, an automatic striker block, and striker deactivation for disassembly. The trigger uses a bladed safety shoe.
