Built at C.N. Romarm S.A./Cugir in Romania and imported by Century Arms (CAI) of Georgia, Vermont, this AES-10B carries clear import and origin markings: 'CAI GEORGIA, VT' and 'MADE BY C.N. ROMARM S.A./CUGIR IN ROMANIA.' It follows the RPK pattern with the correct structural reinforcements and long barrel.
The rifle uses a stamped AK-pattern receiver paired with an RPK-style bulged front trunnion for added rigidity. Its 23 inch heavy-profile barrel and the proven semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt deliver the classic RPK configuration in a civilian format.
RPK-correct features include the RPK-length ribbed top cover, the RPK-pattern folding steel bipod, and an RPK carry handle.
