The DB15 is an AR-15 platform rifle built around a direct-impingement, semi-automatic action. It uses forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers with a black anodized finish and features standard controls, including a manual safety. Capacity is 30+1 with the included magazines.
The 16 inch barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-style flash hider. The ejection port dust cover is marked 5.56 NATO. The flat-top upper receiver has a Picatinny rail, and the handguard is slick-top with a short add-on front rail segment. The upper also includes a forward assist and brass deflector and bears an A forge mark.
The free-float aluminum handguard features a slick-top profile with lateral M-LOK-style accessory slots. A short add-on rail segment is installed near the muzzle to mount the front sight. Diamondback DB shield logos appear on the magwell and handguard, and the lower receiver is marked DIAMONDBACK FIREARMS, LLC, Cocoa FL with DB15 and CAL. MULTI.
Magpul furniture rounds out the rifle with a MOE Carbine 6-position collapsible stock and a MOE-K2+ pistol grip. Installed flip-up polymer sights and a short polymer vertical foregrip provide out-of-the-box aiming and front-end control. This rifle is made in the USA and ships with two 30-round magazines.
