This Springfield Armory Echelon 4.5F (mfg part number EC9459B-U) is a recent-release, full-size 9mm built around a cold hammer-forged 4.5-inch barrel and a striker-fired, locked-breech action. It features Springfield's Variable Interface System (VIS) optic-cut slide, the removable Central Operating Group (COG) stainless-steel chassis, and an integral 1913/Picatinny rail. Two factory magazines are included: one 19-round and one 17-round.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: There is a slight imperfection in the polymer in front of the takedown lever. The front and rear sights have been blacked out with marker.

The Echelon 4.5F pairs a cold hammer-forged, Melonite/nitride-finished 4.5-inch barrel with a striker-fired, short-recoil, locked-breech system. The full-size frame delivers a 19+1 capacity using steel double-stack magazines, with both extended and flush basepads provided.
The slide includes forward and rear grasping serrations and Springfield's Variable Interface System (VIS) optic-cut, which uses indexing posts and a multi-hole pattern for direct mounting. The black slide finish complements the black polymer frame.
Its Central Operating Group (COG) is a removable, serialized stainless-steel chassis visible through the frame window. Controls include fully ambidextrous slide-stop/slide-release levers and a textured left-side magazine release. A flat-faced trigger with trigger safety is standard.
The grip uses wraparound stippling and interchangeable backstraps for fit tuning. An integral five-slot 1913/Picatinny accessory rail is molded into the dust cover. Factory iron sights are a dovetailed U-notch rear with protective ears and a single-dot front post.
Markings include "MADE IN CROATIA, GENESEO IL," reflecting manufacture by HS Produkt in Croatia for Springfield Armory. The package aligns with the EC9459B-U configuration and includes the factory literature, box, soft case, spare backstraps, and a factory test target with matching serial prefix.
