    What’s Included

    • Colt Single Action Army Second Generation 1971 NRA Centennial Commemorative revolver in .45 Colt
    • Two-piece stag-style grip panels (installed)

Issued to mark the NRA Centennial, this Second Generation Single Action Army features the commemorative serial prefix "NRA" associated with the 1971 production run. It is a limited edition model that aligns with Colt's commemorative offerings from the era.

The revolver is built with carbon steel throughout, including the barrel, cylinder, and frame. The barrel, ejector housing, cylinder, trigger guard, and backstrap are blued, while the frame is color case-hardened. The six-shot fluted cylinder and single-action mechanism stay true to the SAA format.

Sighting is via a fixed blade front and a square-notch rear in the topstrap. The ejector rod housing sits on the right side with a round, flat bullseye/button ejector head. Traditional Colt rollmarks and the two-line patent dates with the Rampant Colt appear on the frame.

This example has a shortened barrel measuring 4.5 in, with the modification visible by the interrupted "Colt" marking on the barrel. The action cycles smoothly with a tight lockup. The bore shows good condition with well-defined rifling. Note that the hammer is missing its firing pin.
