The DDM4 V7 is a full-size 5.56mm NATO AR-15 with a semiautomatic, direct-impingement action and a mid-length gas system for smooth operation. Its 16-inch threaded barrel is paired with a 1:7 twist rate, and a two-port stainless muzzle brake is installed. The upgraded ATC Single-Stage Trigger provides a flat, gold-colored shoe and crisp single-stage pull.
The rifle uses the Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 M-LOK free-float rail made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish. It includes integrated QD sling sockets and a continuous T-marked Picatinny rail that runs from the upper receiver across the handguard (T13–T29). A Daniel Defense vertical foregrip is installed for added control.
Controls and furniture include an ambidextrous safety selector, an adjustable stock with overmolded texture, and a Daniel Defense pistol grip. Ultradyne flip-up front and rear iron sights are installed. Length of pull is listed at 11.0 inches.
Markings include "DDM4V7" and "5.56" on the upper; "Daniel Defense, Black Creek, GA, U.S.A., MODEL DDM4, CAL. MULTI" on the lower; and "MFR 15.0 M" on the handguard. The platform accepts STANAG-pattern magazines with a stated maximum capacity of 32+1. Made in the United States.
